Inspirational blog // Mike Dempsey
You must take a look at this fascinating blog by established designer Mike Dempsey. I have put the link below directly to the 'life' part of his blog. In this, he writes of the highs and lows of his career, the good jobs, the bad jobs - all with insurmountable wit and honesty.

Perhaps unbeknownst to him, young designers especially can take great inspiration from what he writes - giving them the courage to take the risks they should be taking- IF they want their work to exceptional. Staying 'safe' slowly bleeds away passion, leading to bland, unexceptional work. If I only take one thing away from reading only a small portion of his blog so far, it's the reminder to be brave - not the sake of it, but in order to be a fulfilled and happy designer.
